Asana Integration

New in March 2026

Connect Asana to make automatic tracking useful for teams already running in Asana

The Asana integration lets Rize sync tasks into your workspace so time can be tagged against real work instead of vague placeholders. It is especially useful for agency and operations teams that need client-facing time data tied back to task ownership.

Two-way sync between Rize and Asana tasks
Improved task context for AI suggestions
Flexible workspace, member, and project selection
A strong fit for agency operations and client delivery teams
Rize Asana integration
The Asana integration was introduced in March 2026 to round out the core task-tracker workflow alongside ClickUp and Linear.

What the integration does

Sync tasks into Rize

Your Asana tasks can appear inside Rize so users can tag entries to the exact task they were working on.

Improve auto-tagging

When Rize knows the relevant Asana tasks, the AI has much better task-level context for matching suggestions.

Control scope

Choose which workspaces, projects, and team members should participate in the sync so the dataset stays clean.

Keep reporting aligned

Time tracked in Rize can flow back into Asana, helping your PM workflow and time reporting stay in sync.

How to connect Asana

1

Open Settings > Integrations

Start from the Integrations area in Rize and choose Asana.

2

Authorize the connection

Rize will redirect you to Asana for authentication and then return you to the app.

3

Choose what to sync

Select the relevant workspaces, projects, and team members you want Rize to sync against.

4

Review imported tasks and start training the system

Once tasks appear in Rize, use inbox review and rules to refine how suggestions map work to those tasks.

When to use Asana with Rize

  • Your team already uses Asana as the source of truth for delivery work.
  • You want less manual task creation inside Rize.
  • You want tracked time to map back to real tasks for reporting, planning, and client operations.
  • You are trying to improve AI tagging quality for team-managed work.
Best practice

Connect Asana before asking your team to rely on task-level auto-tagging. The AI performs better when the relevant task structure already exists in the workspace.
