Accessing the Time Entry Inbox

You can access the Time Entry Inbox from your dashboard. The inbox shows all time entries for the current day that need your attention.

View Modes

The Time Entry Inbox supports two view modes:

  • Block View: See your time entries as visual blocks, making it easy to scan your entire day at a glance
  • Timeline View: View your entries on a timeline to understand how your day flowed chronologically

Reviewing Time Entries

The Time Entry Inbox presents your time entries in an easy-to-review format, allowing you to:

  • Quickly see all time entries for the day
  • Review suggested Clients, Projects, and Tasks
  • Accept or modify AI-powered suggestions with a single click
  • Ensure all time is properly categorized

Context Panel

Each time entry includes a context panel that shows:

  • Apps: Which applications you used during that time block
  • Windows: Window titles for additional context
  • Websites: URLs visited during the time entry
  • Activity Log: A detailed activity log for the entry

This context helps you verify that the AI suggestions are accurate and make corrections when needed.

Managing Suggestions

Rize automatically suggests Clients, Projects, and Tasks for each time entry using GPT-5-powered AI. In the Time Entry Inbox, you can:

  • Accept suggestions with a single click
  • Modify suggestions if needed
  • Reject suggestions and assign manually
  • Add keywords to improve future suggestions

Speed up your review process with keyboard shortcuts:

  • Use keyboard shortcuts for fast tagging and navigation
  • Quickly accept, reject, or modify entries without using the mouse
