Moving and Resizing Time Entries​

You can adjust a time entry directly on the timeline. Drag the body of an entry to move it earlier or later, or drag the top or bottom edge to change its start or end time.

This is fastest when Rize captured the right work but the boundary is slightly wrong. The entry stays in the new position while Rize saves the update. If the save fails, Rize returns it to the previous time.

Manually Adding Time​

Drag on your timeline and select Add Time Entry to log the work, or drag in the session column and select Add Session to add a Focus, Meeting, or Break Session for that span. Your timeline updates as soon as you save. Sessions do not ask for a category; you choose the session type instead.

Workspaces that have not migrated from categories yet also have an Add/Override option in the timeline menu. Select the category of the time you are adding and click Save. Any overlapping time and sessions are overwritten. A focus category creates a Focus Session, a meeting category such as Video Conferencing creates a Meeting Session, and Break creates a Break Session.

Manually Removing Time​

Drag and drop on your timeline and select the “Remove Time” option. This will remove all underlying events and sessions.
