Configuring Focus Categories

Focus categories are used to determine when a session should be considered a Focus Session. Activities included in Non-Focus categories will not automatically create Focus Sessions. This helps ensure that your Focus Sessions only reflect time spent on meaningful, deep work activities.

The default Non-Focus categories are Email, Entertainment, Exclude from tracking, Gaming, In Person Meetings, Messaging, Personal, Sales, Shopping, Social Media, and Video Conferencing.

Setting a Focus Category

Categories can be set as a Focus category in Settings > Categories.

Setting a Non-Focus Category

Categories can be set as a Non-Focus category in Settings > Focus.
